Everyone who hears Anna von Hausswolff stops, listens and is touched. Her voice is the definition of expressiveness. Sometimes it deliciously strokes your skin, other times it raises a storm, but it always demands a place in your heart. One finds raw emotion, realism, romanticism and technique in perfect balance, with the piano as dramatic and melodic foundation. A sound so spectacular as to cause the listener to envisage a spectacular waterfall or a great choir of angels where Joan As a Police Woman and Antony Hegarty take the lead.

People who hear Anna have a tendency to become missionaries, and the rumours about her have spread strongly since her debut in 2008, first in her hometown Gothenburg but soon over the whole of Sweden. February 2010 sees the release her debut album, a record for which many have high hopes in Sweden.
