Susanne Sundfør became famous overnight during by:Larm 2007 when she captivated everyone. She was awarded with rave reviews and 6 of 6 in Norway´s leading newspaper VG for her gig. Susanne released her much awaited debut album in March 2007, an album which has sold over 20 000 examples in Norway. In 2008 the album “Take One” was released, an album with tracks from the debut album performed by Susanne alone. The album was recorded in just one take, thereby the name. She was also involved with Her Majesty Mette Marit’s psalm compilation ‘Sorgen og Gleden’ which became a huge success. Susanne won a Spellemanspris as “Female Artist of the Year” in 2008. Her forthcoming album “The Brothel” is out on EMI 15th of March.
