Icelandic band Seabear started out as the one-man project of Sindri Már Sigfússon, but in time it expanded to a band of seven. Sindri also continues to record as a solo artist under the name Sin Fang Bous. Seabear released their first album in 2007, and the song Cat Piano found it´s way into an episode of the TV series Gossip Girl. However, he most renowned song from the album is I Sing I Swim with close to 600.000 views of the video on Youtube to date.

Clash Magazine described Seabear as “Sufjan Stevens meets an unplugged Arcade Fire” and Rolling Stone called Sindri Már Sigfússon the “icelandic Beck”. A new album is announced for March 2010 and according to the band it will sound more cowboy than the last one.
