Dannyboy and Pumba are two rappers who many expect much from in 2010. Both are solo artists who have been bubbling right under the mainstream radar in recent years, guesting on countless mixtapes from their contemporaries, as well as several solo mixtapes of their own. Many will also perhaps remember Pumba from last year’s hit single “Vestkantsvartina” with Karpe Diem.

After many years as close friends and collaborators, they’ve now decided to give out a five track EP as a duo early in 2010. The release features many of Norway’s biggest rap artists, and is produced by the young hitmaker Nasty Kutt. Many believe they are the natural successors of the legendary Equicez as Norway’s deliverers of uncompromising, unique and socially aware rap, seen through the eyes of second-generation immigrants.
