Valkyrien Allstars was established in 2002, with three Harding fiddles and Tuva Livsdatter Syvertsen’s vocal as the foremost weapon. They have folk music in their heart and their soul in the creative performance of it. Which is exactly why they steadily get new fans to experience the manner in which music can captivate. Not just because it moves you physically, but basically because it vibrates in each person’s emotions. In the spirit of improvisation they let themselves by inspired by blues and jazz, as well as reggae and rock. Musical determination and youthful drive contribute to giving the term folk culture a new meaning and living music a new content.

Valkyrien Allstars was nominated for a Spelleman prize as ’Year’s Newcomer’ in 2007 and were voted as “Year’s Folk Music Artist” during Folkalarm in Oslo in 2008. In 2009 they’ve, as well as playing a series of festivals in Norway, held concerts in Holland, Denmark, Sweden, the Ukraine, and Russia. In the autumn of 2009 they released their second album “TO MÅNER”, which was followed by tours of Japan, and Norway as well as a tour to Russia and the USA.
