by:Larm blir i Oslo i 2012

Mandag 10. oktober ble det avholdt et konstruktivt møte mellom by:Larm og Kulturetaten i Oslo Kommune. Agendaen for møtet var å rette opp i uriktige opplysninger i Kulturetatens budsjettinnstilling, samt å gi Kulturetaten ytterligere informasjon om by:larm 2012.

Kulturetaten har i dag oversendt byråden et tilleggsdokument til innstillingen som i stor grad korrigerer opplysningene. by:Larm tar til etterretning at Kulturetaten etter å ha fått korrigert opplysningene fortsatt velger å opprettholde sin anbefaling til byråden om at by:larm 2012 ikke skal motta støtte. by:larm er imidlertid fornøyd med at byråden etter å ha mottatt tilleggsdokumentet vil kunne ta en avgjørelse på grunnlag av korrekt informasjon.

Tilleggsdokumentet vil også vise uriktigheten i enkelte av de utsagn som representanter fra Oslo kommune har fremmet i media i etterkant av offentliggjøringen av Kulturetatens innstilling.

by:Larm anser de siste dagers utvikling som en tilfredsstillende løsning og ønsker en fortsatt god dialog med Kulturetaten og Oslo kommune fremover.

Videre kan det meldes om rekordpåmelding av delegater til by:Larm så langt, og vi ser frem til å arrangere et stort og fint arrangement i Oslo 2012
